Shipping process

The house will be sent via sea freight from our factory to the US port and delivered to your specified location via truck. The house take approximately 30-40 days of Delivery.

Please plan for a location for receiving which is big enough and flat. Arrange for appropriate unloading machinery.

Please arrange for 3-4 people to assist with the installation.

Is a crane required for installation?

A crane, forklift, or telehandler (with appropriate capacity) is necessary to move and unfold the House at the installation location. The forklift or telehandler can assist in lifting the House from the bottom or the sides.

What is included in the House?

KITCHEN- L shape with washing basin. CABINET- A size:1750*530*750mm / CABINET- B size: 1600*530*750mm 

BATHROOM- Shower, Ceramic Toilet, Ceramic Wash Basin, Towel Rack+Mirror+Paper box 

CONNECTION KIT- PVC connection kit for floors, ceilings, walls.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM- Switches, sockets, lights, lamp, waterproof socked, with distribution box, etc.

What are House made of, and what do they typically look like?

Our Expandable house are built with a strong steel frame and insulated EPS sandwich panels. Expandable house are made with high-quality materials, ensuring durability and comfort.

Are our movable expandable houses watertight?

Absolutely! Most of our expandable houses have gutters located around the perimeter of the roof. These gutters contain 4 drain pipes located in each of the four corners. We also re-seal all of our models during their construction.

Am I required to assemble anything after delivery?

The expandable house is 99% pre assembled, there is only 1% left which need to do by the buyer after open the container house.

We will offer the assemble directions or the video to show, how to assemble.

How are your houses built? 

All of our houses are constructed in our workshops by qualified and experienced tradesmen using high-quality materials.

Can I provide any fittings for you to put into my house? 

Yes, if you would like to provide us with your own fittings then we are more than happy to accommodate that. Please note that there will be an additional charge for our team to install these fittings for you. 

What are the costs involved in expandable house? 

Manufacturing and Shipping to your location cost involved in expandable container house.

Does cost including installation services?

No, Installation services are not included in the order cost.

How long does it take for my order to be ready? 

It depends on your model and spec. Typically, it takes no more than 4 business days for us to complete construction of expandable container house.

Do expandable house need permits in United States? 

Yes, expandable houses require state modular approval under the residential building code

permits, The house require necessary permits, approvals, and clearances, as well as ensuring that the site is free of obstacles and hazards. You should consult your local council to determine whether you require building consent, resource consent.

Is there a warranty for expandable house? 

Yes, The PHOLDABL currently provides a 12-month limited warranty on the house to cover manufacturer defects.The Company shall not be liable for any loss or damage to the Product after delivery, including during installation. This warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective Product or component, at the Company’s discretion. 

Can you customize the houses?

At present, we are currently offer customization only for colors and requirements of bedroom 1/2/3

What are the interior walls made of?

50/75/100mm EPS/Rock woll/PU sandwich panel. Expandable house are made with high-quality materials, ensuring durability and comfort.

What size are the windows in the house?

Made of PVC/aluminium, broken bridge aluminum. Dimensions w1125mm*h1100mm, double-glazed glazed, thickness 5/8/5mm.

Can you tell me more about the roof?

3-4mm hot-dip galvanized steel structure with 4 corner castings and 50mm-75mm EPS or PU sandwich panels; galvanized steel roof covering. This membrane is watertight, insulated.

Can you tell me about the Snow Load?

The house is designed for outside usage and can withstand a heavy snow load. The unit is safe before the snow reaches 6.6ft high on the roof. However, it is recommended that take off the snow in time and don't stay inside in extreme weather conditions (storms, tornados, hurricanes, floods, blizzards, etc)

Can they be equipped with solar, or do I have to install the solar myself?

Solar panels would need to be installed after the installation of your house is complete. Currently, PHOLDABL does not provide the option to install solar panels from the factory. Please be advised there will likely be additional costs in order for you to install solar on your house, but the connections included on the house from the factory will allow solar to be integrated if you choose to do so.

What is the size and weight for shipping?

The unit folds up to L5900mm" W2250mm" H2480mm", weighing 3800kg. With this size, an oversize load shipping permit is not needed.

What type of foundation does the house need to be on?

The expandable house is a versatile structure that can be mounted on different types of foundations, including piers, concrete slabs, or stem walls. house demands minimal support and can be easily mounted on any chosen foundation using our specialized connection plates. The selection of the foundation can be tailored to suit your local conditions and soil type. Moreover, the house’s sturdy floor guarantees a stable and secure structure. Be sure to check out your local regulations for what is required for your area.

Are the utilities ready to plug in?

The house is delivered ready to be plugged into the site, but the site work is not included and must be set up in advance. As a PHOLDABL owner, it is your responsibility to ensure that all site requirements are already in place before delivery. Plumbing and electrical are pre-installed.
